an ad in the paper and decided to give it a try. In San Diego, we have a lot
of laws. We have to wear tights to go on stage. I had no idea of what I was
supposed to wear. The first bar I worked in, Pacers, the manager got me
drunk as anything. I went on stage in an old black bra, neon green bathing
suit bottom and black nylons. I looked awful. They actually took a picture
of me because they thought it was so funny. But, they still hired me, even
though I looked awful. I think about how much I’ve changed.”
